MTS Designated For the 4th year as the Sole Language Service Provider for China Investment Fair

The 7th CIFIT (China International Fair for Investment and Trade) concluded with great achievements. It featured a higher number of forums and seminars that covered a broad spectrum of topics and provided updated information on world capital flows. With participations of more and more countries and investors from home and abroad, this international conference needs more translation services with high efficiency and quality.

As the sole designated language service provider of the 7th CIFIT, MTS undertook most of translation tasks, including translation of most Fair related documents, conference interpretation, the recruiting and training of over 150 volunteer interpreters, simultaneous interpretation in over a dozen seminars, In about a week's time, MTS has taken more than a hundred translation tasks and assigned over two hundred professional and volunteer translators to every corner of the Fair. MTS' services won the appraisal of both the Fair organizers and visitors from home and abroad.

This is the fourth time MTS has been designated as the language service provider of CIFIT since 2000.

About CIFIT

China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) is the sole national investment promotion activity in China that is devoted to attracting foreign direct investment. At present, it is the largest economic and trade activity which concentrates on the attraction of foreign investment and trading of products made by foreign-funded enterprises.

CIFIT is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce (the former MOTEC) of the People's Republic of China , co-sponsored by UNCTAD and WAIPA and organized by the Provincial Government of Fujian and the Municipal Government of Xiamen. The Fair is held annually during September 8-11 in Xiamen , and is the sole nation-wide international investment promotion event focusing on foreign direct investment. Because of its unique advantages in attracting foreign enterprises and investment, CIFIT has aroused great interest and attention from investors, business people, economic institutions and intermediaries worldwide.
