MTS becomes a member of Translation Service Committee of Translators Association of China
[June 19, 2004]MTS becomes a member of Translation Service Committee of Translators Association of China (TAC) on March 24,2004.
Translators' Association of China (TAC), a national academic society founded in 1982, is a federation of translators' associations (societies) at government departments, provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. Translation Service Committee is one of the academic committees of TAC aiming at planning, directing and organizing academic activities in the service provider sector. It consists of a group of elite translation companies in China. The current task of the committee is drafting and publishing series of national standards for translation service.
MTS has been a member of American Translators Association (ATA), ATA Translation Service Division, ATA Chinese Language Division and ATA Japanese Language Division since 2002.
