MTS Xiamen Performs Well Again in 2007

MTS Xiamen recorded excellent results again in 2007 despite fierce competition in the market.

The company´s annual turnover in 2007 grew by 46% over the previous year, representing the sixth consecutive year of rapid growth since 2002. MTS Xiamen completed over 4,000 translation projects for clients in more than ten countries and regions in 2007.

Efforts to enhance project management were met with sound results. MTS implemented the Projetex project management system and Trados LSP throughout the company in 2007, and project management processes were also further refined. These developments have put the company´s quality control on par with the key players in the global market. In addition, the company significantly bolstered its translation team in 2007. MTS is now using more and more translators from abroad, especially from Japan. MTS Shanghai performed well in its first year of business, thereby laying down solid foundations for its future growth.

MTS participated in a series of industry events in 2007, including the Shanghai GALA Conference held in June, the 20th Anniversary Celebrations of the Xiamen Translator´s Association, the Fujian Workshop on Translation in Foreign Affairs and an exchange visit to Taiwan.

The brand effects of MTS are becoming increasingly apparent as the influence of the company continues to grow. The company continues to enjoy high repute among clients, industrial organizations and the authorities.
